wassup wassup wassup,
ioeno how to begun truly, i wish i had an encouraging word but honestly i'm just getting by myself. finally feeling prepared to take on the world IRREGARDLESS of its readiness for me. i have been recalibrating & considering personal health / creatively professional goals. i hope y'all getting by! i feel like this year (in some ways) zoomed by (for a variety of reasons) & we are still catching up. there sheer permanence of change feels like the only solace of which we are capable.
speaking on capacity, i think we all need to be more honest (with no one else, if not ourselves) about what we are capable & more importantly what capacity we want. do you have the capacity to keep up with the rush of life, friends & communities? do you want that? do you have the capacity for your art to flourish? is that a sustainable goal for you currently? realizing what you are capable of is as terrifying as realizing how incapable you are. self-knowledge doesn't know good or bad, it just is.
remember what just is....
what’s going on:
In unsurprising, yet still heartbreaking news, former closet gay fav Kevin Spacey came out amidst accusations of sexual assault, which let me just say is fucking gross. I’ve gone in about on Twitter, (twice) but long story short, that is fucking horrible of him & was a detriment to the queer community.
OH & THE 25 TRANS PERSON WAS KILLED THIS YEAR. Her name is CANDACE TOWNS, she 30 from Macon, Georgia.
